This is a great piece and very helpful. One other problem I see among my colleagues is that we as scientists struggle to think and act collectively. Many people’s impulse and inclination is to focus even harder on the immediate needs of their own lab/career. But that will lose us precious time.

connect your movement with other grassroots organizations that have long been protesting for palestine, workers rights, and more. i noticed a stark absence of these people at the rally yesterday. these issues are all linked, and you should be working with people that have more experience with this.

Are you looking to share any surplus goods with our community? We're a local group working to distribute food and resources throughout Carrboro and Chapel Hill. We would love your help getting surplus food to our neighbors through community pantries, fridges, and potluck events!
