I thought I tried the correct word earlier, but I guess not. 🤷‍♂️

Now that I’ve done the paperwork, I’ve gotten to the payment section. One certificate is $125! That’s definitely a poll tax, and that’s illegal. I’m not faulting New York. I’m faulting the possible requirement for voting.

All this talk of needing a birth certificate in the future got me to looking for a good copy of mine. All I have right now is a copy of a copy from my MEPS paperwork in 1990. Here’s what the website says…
