but new team is the light at the end of the tunnel. People have been so welcoming and excited, they're including me in their in-jokes, and even starting new ones with me! I'm so happy.
i am, however, leaving behind a bit of a hospital pass of a project. i will be spending the next two months trying to make it a bit less of a ... well, a complex risky beast.
And I'd like to shout out, once again, how sensible it is to have a clear company policy on how you can rotate within R&D teams on a regular, orderly cadence. It keeps people in the company and distributes very team-specific knowledge across the company. It's so smart and effective.
