The last scene of the episode shows Fisk give Adam an axe because I guess now he’s not willing to beat on him while he’s defenceless? Sure.

2. There is a section of this fight where Matt just stands there and lets himself be hit in the face multiple times while a small girl is being rapidly drained of blood. Time is of the essence, Matthew, you don’t have time to stand there and aura farm. Just incapacitate Muse and save her.

1. I don’t think the fight should nearly last as long as it does. Matt is one of the best hand to hand combatants in the entirety of the MCU. He bested Danny Rand, The Iron Fist, who punched an actual dragon, quite easily. He should be incapacitated mere minutes into the fight.

he investigates and sees Daredevil running towards him. He’s then attacked and a fight ensues. Muse escapes and Matt saves Hector’s niece. Now… a few things…

It’s at this point that Matt, after 6 episodes, finally decides to don the cowl again. No character arc, no pomp and circumstance, he just puts the costume back on. Yay. Anyway, while draining Hector’s niece of blood, Muse overhears something just outside the door of his lair,

But just a few hours later Matt receives a call from Hector’s wife claiming that the niece never came home and we see that she took it upon herself to act and search the Q-line for Muse. She is, obviously, captured and hooked up to Muse’s blood-draining mechanism.

which he won’t do because she has made it clear she doesn’t trust them, given that she believes Hector was killed by them. But then she has the nerve to get angry at him when he explains there’s nothing he can do for her. You don’t know he’s Daredevil, what are you expecting this blind lawyer to do?

Matt also receives a visit from Hector’s niece who informs him that Hector was actively investigating Muse’s killings and even narrowed down his rough location to an old subway tunnel along the Q-line. I’m not really sure what she expects a blind lawyer to do about this short of going to the police,

people who worship the Punisher and dress up in costumes with basically no limits on what they’re allowed to do. That seems a bit hypocritical, don’t you think? I’m sure that will do wonders for your public image.

Fisk also surmises that he needs to assemble all of the Punisher worshiping cops for a taskforce given special privileges (like no body cams) to help hunt down Muse. Now, I feel it’s important to remind people that Fisk is running on an anti vigilante campaign and he’s just assembled a team of

But Fisk decides that he can use this news to his advantage and informs the handful of people inside his office that this news is not to leave this room, and in the next scene Cherry tells Matt about the killings. Sure. Whatever.

Now I find it hard to believe that Muse killed both of these women within quick enough succession that one couldn’t escape or without being seen, but whatever.

The NYPD also have cadaver dogs, why haven’t they smelled the blood while on patrol? So Fisk is told about these murals as well as two women who have shown up dead beneath a freshly painted one with their eyes gouged out.

so tell me why Matt hasn’t noticed the litres upon litres of blood being painted on walls around the city for months. Humans can smell blood and if Matt’s sense of smell is as heightened as this show claims, which it obviously is, why hasn’t Matt smelled the blood?

So now is when we return to that little tidbit I told you to keep in the back of your head, that being Matt’s ability to smell what the woman at the sentencing committee had for breakfast. So we’ve established that Matt has an incredibly keen sense of smell…

NowI want to point out that these murals are all over the city, there was one painted outside the safe house where Matt and Cherry kept Nicky before he took the stand at the White Tiger case, so there is a very likely chance Matt has been in close proximity to one in the month’s they’ve been there.

So we transition to a city council worker who has been hired to remove the murals that Muse has been painting across the city, and we learn something very interesting. The murals aren’t able to be removed because they are painted in human blood.

We do see him briefly out of costume when he approaches Heather, Matt’s current girlfriend, claiming that he needs help. That’s basically all we know about his at this point.

I’ll quickly establish who Muse is before this next part because the show definitely doesn’t. So… turns out there has been an active serial killer/graffiti artist called Muse for the past few months.

Matt represented him in a court case 10 years ago, there is no reason why he would have any way of contacting him. Also, you’re writing a book on the use of masks and want to speak to one of the only vigilante’s who doesn’t wear one? Just a very dumb woman, really.

She goes on to express her desire to speak with vigilantes in person and asks Matt if he could get her an interview with Frank Castle. First of all, why the fuck would you ever assume Matt has any way of communicating with Frank?

It’s like the writers looked up the psychology of masks and the nature of permissiveness and thought it was the most profound thing they’d ever seen. It’s tired and overdone.

and that’s great and all, Heather, but people have been debating this philosophy for over a century, I really don’t think your little book is going to reveal anything that hasn’t already been theorised.

Episode 6—so we open with Matt praying over Foggy’s picture, Heather then enters the room and informs Matt that she’s writing a new book on vigilante’s and she goes into a whole dialogue about the corrupting power of masks and the power that masks give us in revealing our true selves,

to which they’re all going to say “the blind lawyer guy had it.” As far as the police know Matt was the last person in possession of this diamond so Matt is fucked.

So Matt was the last person to be seen with the diamond, Ms Marvel’s Dad, the hostages and the gang members can ALL attest to this. So… when the police are unable to find this diamond, the first thing they’re going to do is ask the victims who were there when the last time they saw the diamond was,

But it can’t be the case that he returned it in the chaos of the police attack because it would have been found by the police during their exhaustive search of the bank. Right!? But the other option doesn’t make sense either.
