Steam should give devs 1 no questions asked review smite each month

Erased four hours of my life this morning to TCG Card Shop Sim this morning.
The dopamine of pulling a $1900 card…
Indie games. Just avoid February completely for the rest of time.
It’s fine to be pessimistic about AI applications in art, it’s scary shit, but indie devs especially are going to benefit the most from being able to build cheaper prototypes.
It’s not always the worst case scenario.
Look it’s a hot topic but at the end of the day AI stuff is going to get devs through production WAY faster. This doesn’t mean final assets will be AI generated.
It just means less time and money is spent on prototyping and testing which means faster dev cycles.

Pretty CrAzY that innovation is just doing what is best for the user and not the business
This but a Steam Deck with an OLED screen on top
Nothing wrong with taking the RAID bag, it’s a badge of honor
Yup and you can enable “show feeds in following tab” to get a sort of Twitter like feel
I need Hermoine’s time traveling watch thing but instead of saving the world I just wanna play WoW and all the other games in my backlog at the same time.
People don’t know how feeds work and they don’t want to try lol
This is why I read Cyberpunk, it’s more accurate.
Excellent taste
One of the weirder years for Game of the Year discussions. There’s not a CLEAR top 5 in my mind. Do you include the Elden Ring DLC?
Personally for me, in no order.
Shadow of the Erdtree
Astro Bot
Helldivers 2
Metaphor Refantazio
Deadlock (doesn’t count I know)
Metaphor ReFantazio went from being a game I had no clue was coming out to one of my favorites of the year.
Atlus figured out how to streamline the worst parts of JRPGs while keeping that grand storytelling scale.
It’s fuckin rad.
I remember being at EA around the Battlefield V launch. Every studio was looking at Fortnite trying to replicate their success but it was impossible because it took DICE 6-months to make one map in Frostbite…
How do you make a “live-service” with such high fidelity assets?
Western AAA studios need to be looking at replicating the successful formula of Japanese studios like Atlus and RGG.
- Iterate on a formula
- Reuse non-critical assets
- Keep teams “small”
- Focus on content over graphics
- Get games out quickly
- Repeat…
New kitten can be very annoying and then they’ll do shit like this and all is forgiven
Holy crap Fernanda, those drums are sick
I have had the same phenomenon and someone mentioned that they were using this to copy their following list to Blue Sky. chromewebstore.google.com/detail/sky-f...
I tried it out, works well!
It's frustrating that publishers expect old IPs to generate significant "nostalgia" sales immediately with little effort. Everything is seen in quarters and not years.
What were sales expectations for a game that didn't launch on Steam and was easily accessible through a subscription model?
The team revived an old IP through an award-winning spin-off that probably cost a dime compared to the other titles in the portfolio. What more can you ask?
@ozone.birb.house could I get the games business label? Thanks
I’ll appreciate your yapping to my yapping
Think it’s time I start yappin on this app more
