NEW SDG PROGRAM

FILMMAKERS FOR FUTURE
TheYouth Climate Report’s films and the Ghana Youth Videography Programme came together in Accra, Ghana this week. We celebrated graduating filmmakers with whom I worked this year and taught new filmmakers who will be making documentaries for these programs in the future.
The Ghana Youth Videography Programme, a feeder program of the Youth Climate Report, premiered their films today. All films will be presented at COP30 in Brazil later this years.

CHRISTMAS COMES EARLY
It was announced today that the Youth Climate Report film project has won the Jury Award at the Pebbles Underground Film and Video Art Festival. Congratulations to the 1,000+ young filmmakers in 154 countries who contributed to YCR over the years.
OFFICIAL SELECTION
For the first time in its 14-year history, the Youth Climate Report has been selected to participate in a competitive film festival. The Pebbles Underground Film and Video Art Festival will be screening all 1,000+ YCR films on December 15 as part of its official competition.
TREE PLANTING IN MADAGASCAR
YCR is proud to announce we have planted 500 trees in Madagascar and Honduras creating 53.75 working hours for Indigenous tree planters and offsetting 387 tons of CO2. This ongoing project makes our non-profit NGO carbon-negative.
