BREAKING NYT:
The FBI began investigating a New York Times reporter last month after she wrote about Kash Patel using bureau personnel to provide his girlfriend with government security and transportation, according to a person briefed on the matter.

Support for impeaching Trump is at 55%, according to a new Strength In Numbers/ @Verasight.io poll, with 37% of adults opposed. Crucially 1 in 5 of Trump’s own voters support impeachment.

Your government refusing to prosecute sexual predators, but protect them instead, only makes sense when you realize your government is being run by sexual predators.
Ah. Yep.
Last I checked public sidewalks were...public.
A Lego video. You see Kash, with big eyeballs, drinking a beer. Trump, eating a Taco. And Kash's girlfriend looking bondage behind them.
I still think these Iranian Lego videos are too fluent not to have any American involved.
Here, in one screen they mock the Kash drunken story (less than 2 days after The Atlantic published it), TACO Trump, and Kash's girlfriend (targeted throughout).
Kash Patel tweet: Memo to the fake news - the only time I’ll ever actually be concerned about the hit piece lies you write about me will be when you stop. Keep talking, it means I’m doing exactly what I should be doing. And no amount of BS you write will ever deter this FBI from making America safe again and taking down the criminals you love.
and another thing: im not mad. please dont put in the newspaper that i got mad
Yep.
🚨FISA VOTE TONIGHT! 🚨 While you are sleeping, Republicans plan to jam a bill through the House tonight allowing the Admin to spy and collect data for the next FIVE YEARS.
No warrants REQUIRED. No real assurances a shady AG, FBI, or DNI director will follow the law. I am a NO!
JUST IN: John Eastman, the conservative attorney who helped devise President Trump's last ditch strategy to overturn the 2020 presidential election, has officially been disbarred, per the California Supreme Court:
"Imagine"
Electoral College cartogram showing which states are in the National Popular Vote Interstate Compact and which ones could join in time for it to activate by 2028. Each state is sized and labeled according to its number of electoral votes. The states are spaced out enough to accommodate the changes in size but retain their general shapes and relative positions on the map. Current members are in solid orange, potential members are in light green, and nonmembers that are unlikely to join are in medium gray. Members have 222 electoral votes, potential states have 68, and the unlikely states have 248. The compact would only activate once states with at least 270 electoral votes have joined. The seven potential members and their electoral vote are Alaska (3), Arizona (11), Michigan (15), Nevada (6), New Hampshire (4), Pennsylvania (19), and Wisconsin (10). Democrats would need to gain the governor's office and/or legislative chambers to win unified power in these states, as detailed in the spreadsheet linked in this post.
NEW: Virginia just passed a law to join the National Popular Vote Interstate Compact, giving it 222 of 270 electoral votes needed to activate.
This map and spreadsheet show which states could join to activate it by 2028 depending on the outcome of the 2026 elections docs.google.com/spreadsheets...

At some point will people realize the way Axios is being fed these BS leaks and wagging its tail with enthusiasm like a puppy getting a treat?
JD Vance is on a historic roll:
He campaigns for AfD in Germany - they lose.
Invited the Pope to come to US for Trump’s big event - Pope refuses.
Leads peace negotiations with Iran - fails miserably.
Campaigns in Hungary for Orbán - who gets smoked.

👀 Oh. My. Gawd. Now we know why Melania gave that Epstein presser on Thursday. An interview with Amanda Ungaro is about to be released by El Pais on Sunday morning (and it’s after midnight right now in Spain). And on Monday, she will be on CNN.

It’s not at all clear that this is what happened here, but there are sometimes reasons to front-run a story you know is coming. But it can be a complicated decision! Saturday PR Thread Time! 🧵
Young adult happiness is falling. Percent of young people who are pretty or very happy has dropped from 88% to 76% over the last 15 years after having held fairly steady between 1980 and 2010
My hottest “I have no data to back this up” take is that phones aren’t making young people less happy. What’s making them less happy is living in a world where everyone is having their reality defined by recommendation algorithms that can only care about whether something keeps you watching.
Corey Lewandowski was allegedly trading access to DHS contracts for direct cash payments. This is clear corruption. Oversight Democrats are investigating and we will hold him accountable.
I cannot stress this enough: Vegas gave Musk millions to build us a supposed public transportation system. Instead he built basically an Uber tunnel for Teslas that only goes FROM ONE END OF A CONVENTION CENTER TO THE OTHER. Literally just gets you to the other side of a building.
Except we’ve spent $50 billion, the Strait is closed and 3000 people are dead.

It really is hilarious that it never even occurred to me that Melania and Epstein might have known each other, up until the moment she decided to have a whole press conference denying it
