At MSFC, we have IUD insertion kits and resources for your hands-on training workshop on campus! ✨ Students can gain skills in insertion and removal techniques using uterine models and a variety of IUDs, including Mirena, Paragard, Skyla, and Liletta.
Abortion Talk speakers presented their work in improving abortion education and access, highlighting their initiatives in public engagement, stigma reduction, and supporting informed, patient-centred care
Setup for the Manual Vacuum Aspiration (MVA) workshop at the Royal Free Hospital in London. Participants were introduced to early abortion care techniques in a skills-based session.
The clinical communication workshop featured a simulated abortion consultation, where students practiced how to approach sensitive discussions with empathy, clarity, and professionalism with peer and facilitator feedback.
The event brought together healthcare students from across the UK and Ireland for a day focused on understanding abortion care as an essential component of reproductive healthcare.

We celebrate #NationalDoctorsDay by uplifting the physicians who provide reproductive health care, advocate for their patients, fight stigma, and push back against policies that put the health of their patients at risk. Because of them, access to care continues to exist.
💜 Priority will be given to medical students with very little or no access to abortion training on campus or offsite. MSFC will provide travel reimbursement, meals, and lodging for the duration of the ATI.
Medical students attending schools in the following abortion hostile states in the U.S. are encouraged to apply: Idaho, North Dakota, South Dakota, Iowa, Texas, Oklahoma, Arkansas, Louisiana, Mississippi, Alabama, Indiana, Kentucky, Tennessee, West Virginia, South Carolina, and Florida.

We are working to help build a health care system that can truly meet patients’ needs. That means expanding education and training opportunities so abortion care is not determined by someone’s zip code or income, but is recognized as an essential part of comprehensive health care. ✨

Match Week is HERE! During Match Week, medical students learn if and where they’ll begin residency.
Match Week can be emotional. Be kind to everyone this week. Some students match into their dream specialty. Others may need to rethink their next steps.
Even if students didn't match where they hoped, they've accomplished something huge. Every student's journey is different. Students who don’t match can enter the Supplemental Offer and Acceptance Program (SOAP) to apply for unfilled residency spots. However, not everyone who goes through SOAP will secure a spot.
This is just the beginning of an exciting journey. Match or no match, every single applicant has worked incredibly hard to get here. Celebrate their hard work and support the med students in your life!
