Just found this super-useful tool: cmyk.printingbanana.com

I work in CMYK a lot. And sometimes I sample an RGB color from an image as a starting point, and want to find a reasonable CMYK equivalent that *doesn't* use all 4 inks. This tool suggests reduced-ink alternatives.

Yesterday’s high temperature across the contiguous U.S. It should go without saying, but it’s astonishingly hot for March.

Image of a map from the 1940s of migratory flyways for ducks, geese, and swans in North America

Two things I love about spring: flowers and the sounds of geese making their way north.

I found this cool map from the 1940s in the David Rumsey collection of flyways for ducks, geese, and swans.
