Comparison using my last image post: "Wild DITTO used TRANSFORM". The first image uses no overlays, while the second has the RGB pattern from the previous image laid over, using the "Overlay" blending mode @ 100%.

i've been playing with this idea of using custom patterns to copy how RGB displays work, and it's been a neat way to add some texture.

so in this instance if this 9px x 9px tile is meant to represent 1 pixel, and my art is 480px high, I'll make the canvas 4320px high so it lines up with the pattern
