I recommend the manga Hakumei & Mikochi: Tiny Little Life in the Woods because:

1) the coziest darn slice-of-life manga you shall ever partake, about two (little) friends doing projects and hobbies and meeting up w/ peeps.

2) various Good Animal Friends...especially Iwashi the Japanese weasel.

'Tis nice to remember that Iwashi from Hakumei and Mikochi exists~

The door on the bathroom swung open as Jen swooped inside and locked it behind her, a dim light flickered to life and revealed the same face on the press badge, staring back at Jen from the mirror. “Sweet Jiminy Christmas!” she said, in the same masculine voice as before. That really didn’t sound like her, but the flexible relationship she’s had with reality this afternoon meant she wasn’t as surprised as she should’ve been. The face in the mirror was covered in auburn fur, a round pink nose tipped a snout that didn’t resemble one from a real weasel, but was long enough to be undeniably a cartoon one. A backwards flat cap had seemingly materialized from nowhere onto her head.

Thinking a lot about toon weasels today, especially thinking about how it would feel to see that snoot in the mirror~
