It’s a week since you left, I’m still expecting you to come home like it was all a big mistake. Bed time is the hardest, because that’s when you’d come for hugs & when I woke up you were there snuggled in keeping me safe.

I will miss you forever, but I’m so lucky that you chose me as your human. 💔

💔 My adorable little floof is gone. Thank you so much for 13 years of absolute unconditional love. I will love you forever, and even though this hurts so much right now, I know the grief is the price we pay for love. I’m glad I got to hold you so you weren’t alone as you left, you were so brave.

My adorable ball of fluff & chaos has been very unwell for a while & is spending a few nights in hospital (hopefully only a few). It’s astounding how the absence of such a small creature can create such sense of emptiness in the house, and in my heart.

I love him and hope he pulls up ok. ❤️‍🩹
