Idk i feel like sometimes i need something outside myself to tell me I'm wrong when I'm stuck in a negative spiral. I cant always keep that in check myself. If other artists feel like that I hope they can express it so I can tell them how silly they're being too.

Limbo of the lost is absoultely facinating. Like how long was it in production for and how did it end up like it did? Just a very special kind of awful. A beskoke magical kind of bad thats rare and beautiful in a strange and ugly kind of way.

It was quite funny seeing the RLM guys very ruthlessly skewer vapid empty nostalgia bait shit for years then Picard season 3 happened and they turned ito barking clapping seals at seeing a particular version of the enterprise and all their favorite characters on screen again.

Its the 3rd episode of the first season in both cases. Its insane that it happened twice. Nobody on either crew has anything nice to say about either.

Theres a save point on screen in the labyrinth when you load in, so you're very unlucky to have died on that screen before saving. That bossfight is a bit much but its the stakes setting low point if you're woried the rest of the story is as dark as it was. But if its not for you its not for you.

The Blood Stained Sanctuary is incredibly difficult (never beat it myself) but its simply not true that you have to refight the regular final bosses if you die in it. Theres a save point at the entrance. Its a gauntlet with a miniboss then the true final boss at the end.

Tragic: settling down to listen to a multi hour youtube video where a guy reads an Agatha Christie novel and tries to see if they can solve the murder, but he pronounces Poirot 'Pie-rot' and its so infuriating you have to turn it off within 5 mins.

Okay thats nice you think that but you're not describing a live service you're just describing an online game. Running on a server is just one of the characteristics of a live service game.

I dont really see what this has to do with anything. If you consider any multiplayer game that relies on a server a 'live service' then the term is being used so broadly as to be completely useless.

Thats debateable but at least theres an argument to be made as it has characteristics of a live service but hails from before the term was popularized. Most people would just use the term MMORPG. An FPS without subscription or microtransactions just doesnt count tho.

Server based online games have existed for decades before the term 'live service' was coined to describe a specific subset of them characterized by ongoing content updates and removals, limited time events and battlepasses, hope this helps.

Trek has always tried to be progressive but has been held back by the culture and time its been made in. I think what i love most about this movie is that its at least somewhat about wrestling with that and coming to the conclusion that attitudes can change.

There was no overworld at all. I think there were like title cards for each stage. I kinda miss the days were you'd get the same game on different platforms and find they're wildly different. Someone should make a youtube series about that!

I think everyone should have a middling ugly platformer game they put way too much time into as a kid. For me it was Mr. Nutz on gameboy.

I should prolly post more WIP stuff here between updates. So heres a partial preview of an upcoming page but with only my shade and effect layers on. I tend to block out lighting/shades in bright colours, majes it easier to see what's been done already. It also looks kinda neat imo!

Work continues on the next update for Maple Blossom Hits Rock Bottom! 1 out of 10 pages are finished, which sounds bad but the other 9 just need shading. Was aiming to update this weekend but Looking to take a bit longer. There is no schedule but I think these pages will be worth the wait!
