Indeed, yes.
I thought that but I assume he goes into it in the article. I haven't read it though as I'm from the uk so only tangentally affected with no influence.
Rather than not voting, you can spoil your ballot. At least that gets counted.
And the number of women convinced they could beat male Olympic champions is as close to zero as makes no odds.
There's a reason for that.
Married now. This one seems a little more resiliant.
Indeed. Another ex is now a lesbian. I clearly have a strange effect on my partners.
I made the mistake of assuming a long time friend of mine (actually my Uni girlfriend!), who went through the whole process around 10 or 15 years ago, was a realist.
That person doesn't interact with me very much now, which makes me sad.
Baroness Falkner being very clear on Woman's Hour on BBC Radio 4 today.
Funny, but also still shocking if true.
Image of Grace Jones, Boy George, Prince and Annie Lennox. Four 80's icons who proudly presented looks that conformed more to stereotypes of the opposite gender, while not claiming in any way to be that gender. Above the image is the text "I don't really understand how people who were young in the 80s act so confused about different gender identities and expressions when the celebrities of their time looked like this"
Saw this on Facebook. No responses on this one, but lots on the page I saw, none of which seemed to understand the fundamental difference!

As I understand it, it is the space itself, not the objects within it, that is expanding. And the effect is too small to be seen below the intergalactic level.
But I'm not an expert!
The site does talk about that sort of stuff as well. This entry is more speculative than many and does say 'traditional' humanity is just one branch among many adapted for different environments.
I could easily loose an hour or so there!
Though actually, having looked at the site, many of it's predictions are far less speculative and this particular one is well worth a read.
In 10 million years, we'll either be extinct or we'll be unrecognisable. The concept of a Y chromosome may well be meaningless.
I'd hope that, if sex is even a thing by then, humans will have escaped from the genetic determinant entirely and be able to change our sex during our lifetime.
Probably like a lot of the urban legends and scam warning emails that I see every so often that don't have any date on them and have been circling the wires for decades after they were ever remotely relevant.
In 2015, 11 years ago, before BlueSky was even a thing. I don't think it'll bother the people who don't like her any more.
Superb improvisation and skill in the moment. And by the scorer as well.
Yes, I think the "should try to" needs to be a "must" in
"But places that provide facilities should try to make sure there is somewhere trans people can go."
Apart from that, it seems ok to me.
Agree absolutely.
Correlation does not equal causation. Yes, cars have got bigger. But, more importantly, there are many more of them.
Whether you are overtaking a hatchback or an SUV, you still need an entire lane to do it. There are very few occasions where it would be safe to overtake one but not the other.
I suspect that if you replaced all the SUVs with Ford Focus's, you'd reduce congestion by a barely noticeable amount.
SUVs are bad for numerous reasons, but their contribution to congestion compared to other cars is not really one of them.
We need better public transport and more active travel.
Someone posted links to 3 studies recently to support the assertion that trans brains are more akin to those of their desired sex.
I'm not really qualified to judge but they seemed weak to me and one (a systematic review) looked like it concluded the opposite in most cases.
I know I am.
Do you have an example from the book that you could share and discuss? Find the most transphobic passage in the book and we can talk about it.
Ah. I see. Gotcha.
You posted the text "No, you mean VMs. TRAs is something else."
Surely you don't need other people to provide you the context that prompted you to post that text before you can figure out what you meant by "VM"?
What's a 'VM'?
When I saw the image and headline I immediately thought "that's AI bollocks!".
But it did then make me find out a little about the real project in order to verify my first opinion. I just feel a bit grubby now.
