Facial structure is so tough- I’ve always assumed it’s because people are especially psychologically/visually sensitive to it. You made incredible progress! Did you do anything special to train yourself to improve so much?
One of the all time greats
One of the most challenging parts of making this library was finding the right mallets. The water pressure makes the ringing shorter so to get a clear sound I had to switch from the rubber and wood mallets I had to a brass mallet I found online. I even tried using a hammer!
Fam!

In Mario Kart Wii, crashing the game and activating the crash handler will eventually start playing back the contents of the Wii's RAM as sound. Since the data was never intended to be interpreted like this, it ends up sounding like experimental harsh noise music.
Can’t see this without hearing “Main-guh!!” being screamed at the beginning of the promo montage

If you're at GDC next Wednesday, hop over to the Audiokinetic Space in the Sony Metreon if you'd like to hear a rare public chat with some of us at Skywalker Sound that work on games. We'll be talking about co-development between game studio and audio vendors. Should be a good time!
Learn everything from vtubers. Reboot Home Improvement and Khan Academy with anime girls. Realize a media-rich update to the 90's dream of a utopian internet where genuinely useful information is shared freely and anonymously.
Serial Experiments Lain is now summarizing its Philip K. Dick-ass plot with lengthy exposition dumps over grainy stock footage, Metal Gear Solid 2-style, and I am in heaven.
Acronyms coming fast and hard.
Any chance you'd be up for trading? I just came out with a kind of unique Kontakt library of instruments played/recorded underwater with unlocked samples I could send you!

This is good advice- @deltahaas.deltaexmachina.com Ben down the street has a good 3d printer. Layered + processed Ultrasonic + emf could be really cool and I recently got some really good tips for doing stereo ultrasonic well and affordably
Examples- a car or lawnmower engine that won't fully start, a power tool that makes an unusual sound, a dentist tool or pump, anything that makes a neat whir, whine, hiss, clink clank clack, or buzz

This #ScanlineSunday I’m looking at scanlines in 480p on a PC monitor.
Unfortunately this game isn’t great- it looks more like an N64 game with blurry textures and fog. Play Sega AM2’S Macross on PS2 instead!
