Pretty diabolical. Blinking into existence with all memories intact, only to get wrapped in your fingers and stolen away as a casual treat

Yeah, that works! Depending on the process, original might not even need to know there's a little version of themselves stuck as your snack for the rest of time

Simply copy/paste duplicate them and keep them that way. Perfectly morally acceptable

Them taking advantage of your restraints to just chat with and taste you to their heart's content. Casually talking to their literally captive audience inbetween licks and brief sessions in their jaws, the bindings thankfully keeping you from slipping down their throat but also draaagging things out

I do like imagining how you're likely not able to keep an eye on them the whole time. Like, you're slowly spinning in a circle on the string, stuck with them out of sight for uncomfortably long periods of time. Makes it easy for them to hit you with surprise licks

Currently, getting ensnared in string and dangled in front of a pred. Maybe as a ritual sacrifice, maybe as a form of elaborate teasing, maybe just a mishap with climbing rope - either way, stuck hanging somewhere helplessly, while something large and hungry curiously approaches

But yeah, I think the sentience and intent is a big different maker. Caves aren't exactly trying to kill you, they're just built like that. Digestive tracts, on the other hand, are designed for processing
