In 1953 Iran had a functioning democracy. A free press. Seven political parties. Women in universities. Women granted voting rights in municipal councils in 1952. A secular prime minister named Mosaddegh who believed Iran's oil belonged to Iran. The US and Britain decided he had to go.

40 years ago — as we are being shown on various retrospectives on TV and print media — the West galvanised/was shamed to tackle famine in Ethiopia. 40 years on similar horrible famine-like images from Gaza but response and tone has been strikingly different.
Would be good for him to start with the UK and work to stop the dumping going on by successive governments. Then start preaching to other countries
