Isn’t it pretty? Not an Adventures in Cocktails with Andrew since he is abstaining, but this is the Blueberry Margarilla! We used the blueberry infused tequila, and it also has Cointreau, Licor43, and lime juice. Not terribly sweet, but has hints of blueberry and is refreshing. Recipe below! 🍽️🍴🍸🧶
Oh! This is good! It’s supposed to be White Chicken Lasagna soup, but I opted for little pasta balls (looks like large couscous, but is pasta) instead of lasagna noodles. Other mods: leeks instead of onions, and about 3x the garlic called for. The recipe I used is below. 🍽️🍴
Blueberry infused tequila! A margarita is always a good stand by - but does anyone have any other suggestions of what I should make with it? 🍴🍽️🍸
This Adventures in Cocktails with Andrew is much more my speed - the Tuaca Sidecar! Cognac, Cointreau, Tuaca, and lemon juice - lovely with notes of orange and vanilla. Makes me want to try a similar one with Licor43. Recipe below! 🍽️🍴🍸
Not an Adventures in Cocktails with Andrew because I am not having this one - a Maple Whiskey Liqueur Old Fashioned! 2oz rye whiskey, 3/4oz maple whiskey liqueur, 3 dashes Angostura bitters, 1 dash orange bitters, garnish with an orange peel. Stir and serve over a large ice cube. 🍴🍽️🍸🧶
Tonight’s Adventures in Cocktails with Andrew is the Wicked Apple! Probably more of a fall drink with the Apple Brandy and Strega, but I am inside with the AC on pretending it is not 87°F in mid-April. It’s such a pretty golden yellow, and I love the herbal bit the Strega adds in. Recipe below! 🍴🍽️🍸
That recipe makes 6 servings, but the site lets you scale that up or down.
Separately or as one infusion? I am intrigued - I love cardamom.
Hello Miss Nan! By lime concentrate, do you mean something like Rose’s Lime Cordial, or something else?
Proud Ollie and his collection of hair ties and other cords he has scavenged for from around the house. He likes leaving them on my bed. 🐈
Tonight’s Adventures in Cocktails with Andrew is the Basilico! Vodka, Limoncello, lemon juice, the last of my ginger syrup, and muddled basil. Wonderfully lemony and herbal! I picked up my Olympics sweater again… I’ll finish it before the weather gets cold again! Recipe below. 🍽️🍴🍸🧶
It doesn’t look like much right now - but it is going to be something special in a few weeks. Blueberry infused tequila is in the jar - I can’t wait to see what pretty cocktails come of it. 🍽️🍴🍸

Tonight’s Adventures in Cocktails with Andrew is the Ginger Gimlet! We used Empress Rose Elderflower Gin and my ginger syrup (I’m determined to finish this syrup!). The recipe called for normal simple syrup, but the ginger syrup completely elevates it. Recipe below! 🍸🍽️🍴🧶
Yes, please.
A not an Adventures in Cocktails with Andrew - BlackBerry Ginger Margarita! Andrew is sitting this one out, but he still made one for me ❤️. Sweet and spicy with High proof Lalo tequila, Créole Shrubb, lime juice, muddled blackberries, and ginger simple syrup - and it is gorgeous as it is tasty. 🍸🍽️🍴
Tonight’s Adventures in Cocktails with Andrew is the Chatham! Gin, ginger brandy, lemon juice, and ginger syrup - this is our first with ginger brandy, and I am getting floral notes on this one. Yum! New book is The Archive Undying by Emma Mieko Candon - just started tonight. Recipe 👇! 🍸🍴🍽️📚💙📚🚀
This was good! Creamy ground beef and lentil curry over rice. Mods: added in some chopped celery and garlic, used the whole can of coconut milk, and used chicken broth rather than water. My only complaint is this makes a ton of food! It says 5 servings, but I would say more like 8. Recipe below! 🍴🍽️
Next liqueur up - Crème de Mûre! Or, in other words, blackberry liqueur! 250g each of blackberries and sugar, and 275ml each of vodka and cognac. I’m making this now so it will be ready in 2 months when we want to start having blackberry cocktails. 🍽️🍴🍸
Tonight’s Adventures in Cocktails with Andrew is the Passenger Princess! Apple brandy, Grand Marnier, lemon juice, and we subbed my ginger syrup for the honey syrup. So good! I am a big fan of Apple brandy. Current book is Spread Me by Sarah Gailey - deliciously creepy so far. Recipe below! 🍽️🍸🍴💙📚
And that will spark people’s imaginations to write or read so many more cool books…
