I know I'm a little late but I made this synth hobkin for halloween! These are pictures from the VRCFT meetup.

The VRChat subreddit is in such a terrible state. There's barely any moderators so it's just a barrage of the same "Where can I find this avatar" or "Please help me fix this basic avatar problem" posts.

I am genuinely starting to consider just unfollowing it because of how much of a shithole it is.

I make avatars and stuff, hello frens.
I made this neato protogen and a lot of other stuff.

I feel like an easy solution would just be some sort of option where only friends can see your avatar, and non-friends just only can see a fallback or something. It would really help with this whole debacle going on right now. :/

If you mean like, weight painting. Would highly recommend turning on auto-normalize. Having normalized weights is a great way of keeping the weights tidy, making deformations better. The positions of the bones is also very important and takes some time to get right.
