On any given day, you might as well roll a die to predict whether Donald Trump is going to claim total victory; imminent victory; a negotiated ceasefire; an imminent ceasefire; new attacks; crucial negotiations or imminent crucial negotiations. The only certainty is that heβll be lying.

It's now been 3 hours since our supposed "ally" Donald Trump threatened genocide on a country of 93 million people.
We've had absolutely nothing from the UK government.
This doesn't come in a vacuum either - every day the US & Israel have been murdering innocent people.
Starmer should immediately & unequivocally ban access to British airspace to US warplanes. The UK should not be accomplice to a US President who is threatening more war crimes. Period.
The President of the United States is threatening to commit war crimes and wipe out a "whole civilization" β all because he started a disastrous war of his own making and had no plan and no strategy for how to end it.
This is abhorrent, and the American people do not support this.
Greta Thunberg: "The President of the United States just said that a whole civilization will die tonight, never to be brought back again & no one is reacting. This speaks for itself: what the fuck is anyone even doing at this point? We have normalized genocide, total annihilation of entire people."
This week, Brexit finally killed our family business. We cleared out our warehouse, handed back the keys, paid the final bills and said goodbye to our last employee.
What was once a thriving firm died a slow, sad death, all thanks to Farage, Johnson and the gullible idiots they conned. 1/18
Today, half a million people marched against racism and division as @togetheralliance.bsky.social
The emboldenment of the far right is a grave concern for all of us. Today, Brits said loud and clear: they do not represent us. Our streets belong to us, not to fearmongers who preach hate π«±πΌβπ«²πΏπͺ§
Hannah and Zack on stage together
Half a million people standing against the far right.
Half a million people who care about each other and our communities.
Half a million people ready to make hope normal again.
Tonight Labour voted with the Tories to block plans to deliver cleaner air, faster buses, safer cycling and nicer walking, and enabled future mass transit.
It was the old Labour administration's idea in the first place! They care more about petty political pointscoring than what's good for Bristol.
Bristol labour sunk to new depths tonight. Voting against or abstaining on three sustainable transport projects, that would improve air quality, improve bus times, a safe route for children to get to school, and even improve traffic. An absolute disgrace.
Farage rejects Polanskis request for tv debate as Gorton byelection heats up
Gorton & Denton is between the Green Party and Reform.
And Farage knows his candidate is weak as.
Hannah Spencer for the win.
Oh, and
4. Despite the demand for proportional representation from Labour members, Starmer won't change
our ridiculous First Past the Post system. So he's in no position to blame anyone for "splitting the vote".

From a Green Party doorknocker for the Gorton and Denton by-election:
Zack with lots of cameras.
Great to talk to Channel 4 news.
Gorton and Denton is between the Green Party and Reform.
Hannah Spencer - our Mancunian plumber who knows the value of work.
We're fighting back.

Hannah is just brilliant. She's funny, smart, VERY hard working, knows how to get her point across, and doesn't take no for any answer. What else could you want? π

"Reform have a TV pundit.
The Green Party have got Hannah the local plumber!"

Thanks to amazing team who came canvassing in Denton with me today - we had a lot of fun & fab reception on the doorsteps π. And if anyone is still (weirdly) thinking of voting Labour - one more Labour backbencher will make no difference - the first Green MP from Manchester would be transformative πͺ
This is a truly horrifying account of increasingly likely collapse of essential natural systems which would bring mass food shortages, price rises & global disorder. Commissioned from UK intelligence chiefs but scandalously suppressed by Govt, & sneaked out now while attention is elsewhere π
This is more of a placeholder. I have been trying to warn about our unpreparedness for the impacts, of climate change, biodiversity and ecological collapse, for many decades.
It is poorly understood, even amongst many scientists in the area.

Farage hopes he can breeze into power without scrutiny. But his racism, corrupt donations, shady links to Russia and MAGA⦠make it harder for him to hide. And his tantrum reactions to being challenged reveal him for the nasty inadequate he really is.

We deserve better than this
Thanks for all the kind words on my Radio 4 interview tonight on the economy!
Vital to ask about this idea of "radicalism" - radical is actually what this Labour Government are doing.
Protecting the interests of the super rich over people and nature.

Zack Polanskis insane economics
The country wants a wealth tax on assets.
They're panicking because "won't the rich just leave" has been utterly debunked.
They've got no actual argument.

Striking in this debate hosted by @krishgm.bsky.social how many people in the comments are saying that a wealth tax at this point is so obvious.
Is it any surprise that the Labour Governments response is to continually try and take swipes at the Green Party?
