There are some those who complain about their circumstances in this country when realistically they are living in luxury compared some in this world. You at least have a roof over your head, food, etc, which may not live up to your wants but could be a lot worse. There but for fortune ...........

Passed a secondary school as the kids were on their way home this afternoon. Spotted a group of c13/4 yr olds surrounded by a cloud of vape exhaust.
You’re not telling me they are using vapes to help them stop smoking?
🤷‍♂️

A re-elected SNP government will introduce a Private Jet Tax and a Mansion Tax on homes worth over £1 million, making the wealthiest pay more to help support local services across Scotland.

Make it #BothVotesSNP on May 7 for a government that’s on your side.

Just spotted a red squirrel running across the A944 (Skene Rd.) near the new Hazlehead Acad. construction site. First one I’ve seen in Aberdeen for a few years. 👍

There are obviously unacceptable IDF transgressions, then there are acceptable ones! 🤬

We are not antisemitic, I personally don’t have an issue with anyone who follows the Jewish faith or any other faith for that matter, I feel sorry for you wasting your time and energy, I do have a problem with the current Israeli government and the IDF, they need to be removed as soon as possible.

Waffling Jenrick tries to defend Tice's £100k tax scandal Richard Tice is in real trouble if this defence from Robert Jenrick is the best that Reform can muster — embarrassing stuff

Waffling Jenrick tries to defend Tice’s £100k tax scandal

I think he means “as they can get away with” given his recent publicity.

If even he can’t get the rules (pertaining to his own affairs) right, it shows our tax rules are far too complicated. They need simplified so that folk like Richard can’t keep making mistakes (in his favour, naturally!).

NEW: Richard Tice failed to pay almost £100,000 in corporation tax, benefiting his investment company which made large donations to Reform UK.

First time Reform's deputy leader's tax affairs can be directly linked to finances of Nigel Farage's party.

Tell RefUK where to stick Nigel’s “insurance based health system”!
It is immoral to profit off the misfortune of our neighbours who fall ill.

The total tax Tice's companies are known to have avoided through onshore and offshore entities, or failed to pay, in relation to Quidnet now amounts to almost £800,000.

Reform is corrupt.
Tice is a tax dodging cheat.
They want power to make money for themselves.
The foreign bribes, the crypto donations, the bitcoin investments, Farage and Kwarteng’s cosy little deals…

They’ll treat the UK and the NHS as their own fire sale.
We must never give it to them.

Labour, Tory MPs & Lords & their pals in the corrupt media are ‘outraged’ that the SNP are trying to make a few basic staple foods more affordable to people with low incomes. Yet the same London elite are dining every day on *SUBSIDISED* quality meals served to them. No wonder people are angry.

Tw&t!
Well, it may or may not be. But there’s 1 thing we do know, capitalism isn’t working.
Our electricity price is tied to the cost of gas, the highest production cost, even if only 10% of electricity is produced by gas.
Plus, when times get hard, who do companies turn to for £? The taxpayer!

Until I see their polling numbers plummet, they remain a danger. Esp down south, Farage could be elected PM without a having a single Scottish MP!

Making profit out of someone else’s misfortune to fall ill is utterly immoral.
I doubt RefUK supporters realise that Nigel’s plans will mean their ability to be treated will rely upon their ability to pay. If they have any pre-existing conditions, they’d better have a decent bank account!

Standard practice for many companies. Companies originating in other countries pay exorbitant head office overheads &/or buy much of their supplies through HO. Many British companies registered offices abroad or in tax havens to avoid paying tax. A company whose contract I managed did exactly that.

Strange so many key political figures have phone problems! Especially those who requested to provide phones for reasons of investigation/enquiry! 🤔
Maybe just issue politicians/spads & officials with burner phones or the latest EncroChat/Anom encrypted mobile networks used by drug traffickers?
