I went through each quest in the keep. To check how I thought it would work with beginning players and a beginner DM. I ended up being more critical than I like.
If you plan on playing in the adventures of this box set do not watch this video. I spoil everything.

I released my next free adventure on my Patreon, Shrine of the Mother and Destroyer. It is one of a handful of adventures I offer as well as a few NPCs and magic items. I hope you find them useful. Enjoy! #shadowdark

Cults need to start somewhere. This adventure has a 1st level party squaring up against a cult that's just getting its legs.
Stop by my Patreon. No need to join. It's where I offer what I make for free. Grab the PDF and sock it away for when you need a quick adventure. www.patreon.com/gothridge
Map Attack! I write a lot of short adventures so I draw maps with a 2 to 8 encounter areas at most. I try to keep the adventures to a single folded page in length. I finished a group of maps yesterday while zenning out watching Blacklist.
Thanks. I go hot and cold on social medias. I try to post consistently but I rarely do. But thank you.
Map Attack! It's been a while since I've attack anyone with a map. Back to drawing maps after a long hiatus. Enjoy.
I posted a review of The GM Companion for Shadowdark by Chubby Funster. Most of you have already have it, but I wanted to share my thoughts and maybe get the three of you out there who haven't seen or heard about it to give it a look.

Last Thursday I got on to do another Adventure Writing Session and Paul Turner joined me. We decided to use his zine, Critical Hit to roll up a hex flower. We had a lot of fun. A lot of participation from viewers. This is part one of a short series.

I got a lotta catching up to do.
Just a map. Because why not. I think we can all use a map. I said map, not nap. Although having one of those is good also.
I'm jumping on in a little bit to do a live adventure writing session. I'll use some of the on-line resources to create a complete adventure in one session...I hope. During the session I ask and answer questions. Input it always encouraged.
Hope you'll join me.

Through the years I've created a lot of adventures, but I'm finally getting around to cataloging/organizing them. It's like a crate of old family photos to go through and put them in the right album to enjoy.

The party has been split by space and time. Now only space. Both sides have brewed their own distinct trouble. They behave better together...you don't believe that?
Join us Monday at 7pm eastern and watch this group sit in it over and over again.

The party is split geographically and temporally. The spellcasters are in Hounds Head. Fighting monsters. The fighters are in Scorn. Shopping, getting their nails done and matching tattoos.
Join us Monday at 7pm.

This Monday at 7pm est we get together for our 20th session. Lots of chaos. Typical gaming group stuff. Winter storm sweeping in. Unknown creatures ready to attack. Losing half of a hand. Divorcing from a demon lord. And worst of all Hugo's Healing Potions.

7pm on Monday Nights I gather with a group of friends and we explore my campaign world, The Komor Forest. As Paul aka Flint Fireforge has said, while we are not entertainers we play a fun game and our videos 'show how the sausage is made'. Please join us.

A map I drew of a the Hamlet of Riddenfield. It features a handful of homes and a small, moated tower. Riddenfield was established 37 years ago when copper was found in large deposits within the Swelter Hills. The area also provides a great place for herds of sheep to graze.
Very cool!

I was recovering this weekend from the flu. I grabbed Atelier's Sandbox Generator and rolled up a hex of little hexes. I used @gamestamps.bsky.social map stamps to create this map. I've been using these maps for years.
Which do you prefer? I love the b&w, but I broke out my colored pencils.
On Monday nights I run a Shadowdark Campaign set in my Komor Forest Setting. We're on session #14 and the party is taking on The Card Master. We begin this adventure with 'roll for initiative'. Join us and heckle Joe.

I thought I'd start this feed with one of my maps. A walled homestead.
