Imagine if our elected and appointed officials and their rabid supporters were anchored by these two simple concepts right now. Oh, and the name Garrigue? That was his wife’s. She was from Brooklyn.

One thing that’s concerning about this (beyond the obvious) is that anything you dump this many billions of dollars into necessarily creates a massive and well-funded political constituency for its own perpetuation.
