There were times when reading about the French revolution in school where I wondered why the aristocracy didn’t see the obvious reality all around them and how it would clearly impact themselves.

The entire web is dying. Users aren’t going from BlueSky to another site (x/insta/threada/tiktok). Users are going to chatbots.

I know traffic to news sites has cratered (like 90%). My hunch is traffic to all the social platforms is down too.

I am currently obsessed about FEMAs WaffleHouse Index and if we’ve ever hit DEFCON WAFFLE.
