I think I saw a driver getting a ticket (from a motorcycle cop) on Airport Way this morning.
There was also an accident (looked like a rear ending by the crosswalk by Lander st), so maybe the two things are related…

Yes!!! 🙌 I WOULD VERY MUCH LIKE MORE LOCAL JOURNALISM!
Sports owners are using tech to build private surveillance states — while taking public money.
Which means that Knicks owner James Dolan is the future.
In a new collaboration with @wired.com, we go inside how MSG secretly watches fans, surveils kids, tracks players… youtu.be/yNZ3hJPN5Vc?...
OTOH, I love Burien Cat Lady caring so much about her city that she spends hours every week live posting council meetings. OTOH we need News Notes to shore up and expand local journalism.
(speculation, opinion my own) i wonder if the Mayor of Seattle will attend the next minimum wage lawsuit hearing which is scheduled for next Friday, May 1st…
Burien City Council is moving on the minimum wage!

Update: I just found the photographer. His name is
Yifan Ling and you can find lots of photos in his instagram account, all of them of Orcas. He loves killer whales as much as I do. Look him up. (Ling.j39) I turned this to a Seattle poster.
Good morning Bluesky.
Say hello to our resident Orca, in front of the Seattle waterfront during a gorgeous PNW sunset. He was traveling with his family and T034s, T037/T037Bs. Those little ones in the pods are always the most playful ones. We love our whales. This photo should be a poster!
Sorry but I will never submit to the idea that humans are cruel.
I’ve had many cruel things happen to me but overall my entire life is a result of persistent & unyielding kindness.
“Seattle needs a complete system!”
“Ballard and West Seattle are neighbors. The fences between us have grown too high. Let’s cut them down. The extension to West Seattle will not be complete until it goes to Ballard.” - @westseaurbanism.bsky.social
At the Autozone of all places lol
Have you signed our save Graham Street light rail station petition yet? We need just a few more signatures to get to 800

Yessss perfect day for it!
Hi gay!
Two kids heading counterclockwise on the green lake outer cycle track. One is older and cycling confidently, and one is younger and weaving left and right a bit with only one foot on a pedal as the other foot kicks off the ground. Paint and flex posts delineate the car lanes from the bike lanes, and one of the flex posts has been mowed down by a car. It's a perfect partly cloudy Seattle spring evening.
Homeward bound after a lovely evening at Green Lake
Nothing but a flex post and a prayer between my entire world and vehicle traffic
The 3yo is so close to properly pedaling!
(She switched to one of our bikes once we got to roads and hills, but the 8yo held her own all the way home to Ballard.)
You cant claim to be pro-immigration and pro-diversity if you support policies that ban a diverse group of people from moving to your neighborhood
