KH3 is weird. It's trying to go for recreating the looks of its movies, and accomplishes this fantastically in a lot of cases- more than any other game in the series.
But sometimes it just breaks, and it's inconsistent.
Like- Hercules in Thebes looks so off, yet SOME scenes in Tangled look *perfect*

So you were able to increase performance on specifically Switch 2, but improving the PC port's performance just... isn't important?
Still can't play the game, because 16gb of ram on Windows 11 isn't enough. I want to, already bought it.
So much for "more optimized than the original."

REALLY hoping this improves performance on PC too. It'd suck if you guys prioritized optimizing one platform but figured the Steam version didn't need it.

That's fair lol, I find it a little under-utilized personally. A lot of environments have this dusty fog that muddies colors, and being open world, there aren't many set pieces/visual variety to play with the shading.
It can be kinda plain, but when it looks good it looks REALLY good though, yeah.

Surprised BotW of all things has your favorite art style. I think the game looks *good*, but it can look pretty dusty and dull in its art direction a lot of the time, and characters can be pretty stiff.

I hope this is a performance patch for all platforms and not just Switch getting 60fps... I want to play the game but despite having 16gb of ram, it's not enough. (Which, for a "more optimized" remaster of an 8gb game doesn't seem great?)

Saddest part about the Steam Machine being delayed is that they're likely sitting on a whole Half Life game to coincide with it, but can't reveal it until the console can come out.

I think the lack of a nose does look a little strange for a human, but the shrunk down normal nose also feels a little clashy. Maybe just a simple brown line like this could work? Just an idea lol

I wish more developers stopped and realized that their games aren't books or movies. There are SO many natural ways to convey things about a story and world beyond lore dumps lol- so many unique and helpful tools at your disposal. It's one of the best parts of video games.

Iirc you don't care for Sonic, but there's a whole 3D Sonic game with controller support called Sonic Dream Team that released like 2 years ago that's stuck to die on Apple Arcade.
It LOOKS fun to play, and if it were on Steam would probably do really well!

I haven't had any issued yet because I haven't bought the game, but I can get not liking the subscription service.
A subscription makes sense for an MMO people will play long term, but there are many others who want to play through a mainline FF story who might feel this enacts a time limit to do so
