TUESDAY
It'll be a cloudy start with perhaps patchy drizzle, but this will soon clear and sunny spells will break through quickly during the morning. What will help to break up the cloud will be the wind and this will be a strong and gusty east-to-northeasterly.

Accumulated rainfall amounts are predicted to be very low with little rainfall between now and the end of the month as high pressure takes control.
High pressure building still hasn't stopped showers from forming today. Nice little streamer coming in from the Irish Sea now.
Got to love UK Weather, keeping you on your toes.
🌤️ Tuesday onwards still looking good for the week with dry conditions, sunny spells and pleasant in the sunshine. The only downside will be a cold wind at times. Chilly nights too but better than wet and windy.

Rather than a cloudy uneventful morning we have some sunny spells and this has helped to brew some showers, certainly more than expected.
Not much rainfall expected over the next 10 days, high pressure always close by, with any rainfall coming from showers rather than bands of persistent/heavy rain.
MATCH FORECAST ⚽
Oldham Athletic v Salford City FC
Bright or sunny spells should develop after a cloudy start to the afternoon. Dry with the chance of a shower low. Windy at times.

Talk about dragging its feet.....🙄
SUNDAY
High pressure over the UK with a cool airmass. This means a pleasant day, warm in the increasingly strong sunshine. Sunny spells with plenty of fair-weather cloud bubbling up as the day goes on. Risk of a shower low.
Chilly overnight.
Max 13°C Min 2°C
SATURDAY
It looks like it will be a cloudy start with any bright spells limited. As the afternoon wears on some sunny spells should slowly break out as high pressure builds. Pleasant in any sunshine. Clear overnight with a frost forming.
Max 13°C Min 0°C
REST OF FRIDAY
Still some rain to come but as we head to the latter part of the afternoon brighter skies should filter in from the west.
Clear spells overnight and breezy.

Why these silly poses on the images? Just don't see any need for them.
Still some more patchy rain to move through the region over the next hour or so. It will then brighten up from the west with a few showers, but from mid-afternoon onwards it should be a decent end to the day with sunny spells and drier conditions.
FRIDAY
A cloudy morning with some areas of rain around, especially on the hilltops.
An improving picture as the afternoon wears on with sunny spells developing. Still the odd shower but then it should be a nice end to the day. Windy
Max 15°C Min 7°C Max Gusts 25mph
THURSDAY NIGHT
Rain moving in this evening, mostly light but some heavier bursts for a time. Mild.
Min 8°C
A April shower giving a vibrant rainbow over Northampton this Wednesday evening.
Looking a little bit better for me now ⚡.
Very organised, and growing, line of thundery rain to my west. All moving NE.
Unless it develops more on the southern flank then I'll be missing out.
Otherwise be aware of flash-flooding, torrential rain, gusty winds, hail and ⚡.
