Black & White inage of trees and a railway line.

I've been out with the dog this evening. Took a few pictures round the railway, and a couple of them came out ok.

I mean really, is £380 a month really what people spend on a basic car? If so more fool them! My secondhand estate car has cost me an average of £86 a month, and that falls each month as I still have it!

Wow, he's barely surviving while spending over a grand a month on stuff I can't afford! (Not to mention 5x as much on his mortgage)

I really feel for these people! What ever will they do with their multi-million pound homes when they retire?

Apparently tagging the bot @realfollowers.bsky.social will tell you how many of your followers aren't blocked, banned, or otherwise not seeing your posts.

Just for interest really.

To be fair, I think this is pretty close to the truth. The general apathy around politics from the politicians and public is rooted in a feeling that our lives are safe, and political differences are just tinkering around the edges.

Maybe it 'cured' them of being nonverbal, and the fish told them how good it was. Sounds to me like there was a reason it was only reported in the Daily Mail

Looks pretty awesome. Wish I had time to learn this!

Im amazed it's that high! But then again, I live outside any major cities, and having a car is unfortunately essential. One bus a day and while I could walk to the shops it would take an hour each way and not really viable for shopping. Public transport needs investment.

It makes no sense!

Does he mean political lies are a special case of lie that he can't cope with?

I do get that autistic people might have increased difficulty coping with changing perspectives and priorities. But Farage's lies aren't subtle ones!

Does anyone else feel like TV ads are a form of punishment inflicted on them by the advertisers?

I think you are being very America centric. You seem to be under the impression that unless we are a MxGA then we are decent Americans. That 49% of users are NOT American. Making conclusions as if they are will be bad conclusions. The world will not forget that the US *ELECTED* Trump.

Ok, but it's not a statistically significant difference. My point was you were assuming that the majority of bsky users were of a certain type. The majority aren't of that type ("decent" Americans). If you make false assumptions about who the users are, the conclusions will also be false.

My point was related to your assertion to you saying, "bluesky attracts (mostly) decent Americans". Even if 100% of American users reached your bar of beind "decent" it would still only be 50% of the users. In reality most bsky users aren't in your class of "decent" Americans.

Is that actually true though! My "discover" and "following" feeds are near identical. Its spooky.

To be fair, daily "likes" is a better metric than total users. Most people won't ever delete their account, so they still add to the total even if they never use it. I have 2 Twitter accounts I can't get into and never really used.

Only 50% of Bluesky users are American.

Could you explain "dashing" to a curious English person please. I tried to look it up but only found dictionary definitions: moving fast or looking great... which im sure you guys did too 😆

Fantastic shot and great balance!

People are very short-sighted and have almost no imagination. This causes all sorts of other problems as well.

I think you either dont understand why families get benefits or do but are trying to be angry about it anyway. Are either of those the viewpoint of stupid people?

Just a thought, but maybe it's to do with having financial dependents. Those people in society that dont or can't have jobs, who dont get a pay rise but still have to deal with the fluctuations in the economy.
Maybe it's to help stop kids living in poverty. Which is a good thing i my book.

Less of the Hogwarts please, it takes something iconic and impressive with class and beauty and makes it cheap and sordid. It was the same before HP and hopefully will be long after that crap is forgotten!

I had no idea Lincoln was like that! I might have to visit!
