AP journalists trying to film immigration enforcement in Minneapolis from a public street and sidewalk ordered to stay in vehicle or face arrest. They were not impeding law enforcement, they were documenting action on public streets That's arrestable now, I guess.

Yes, the unusual thing here is that it didn't happen immediately after the shooting and with the start of an investigation. That it's happening days later is what's not at all normal.

This year has been tough. Many large contracts we had were canceled because of federal budget cuts and defunding of public media and businesses deciding that helping people find factual information on their platforms wasn't important anymore. (more)

The Guardian has now completely retracted quotes from an anonymous high school source who had called Tyler Robinson a “leftist.” The source now says they couldn’t accurately recall details of their relationship.
Egregious example of this was when the anti-public health crowd held up Sweden’s lack of restrictions as the example to follow, then Sweden saw much higher COVID hospitalizations and deaths than Scandinavian peers and changed course, but those Americans didn’t go “OK, my idea was tested and failed.”
