I think its because some devs and games just go above and beyond to punch above their hardware limits. And alot of those games dont make the gameplay impact of its optimization immediately obvious

I love Stolas but Via was let down by him in both Loo Loo Land & Seeing Stars before she finally broke in Sinsmas. She’s just a teenager who wants a stable home life & as much as Stella’s to blame, Stolas did tend to unintentionally prioritize his relationship with Blitz over connecting with her
the animator to gamedev pipeline is real and shockingly common

Okay ive only been lurking the hellaverse fandom for a few months but this is what its starting to feel like there too
Yeah i do genuinely have the hope that he will get better and earn some real wins, and if not, i dont think itll be enough for me to stop watching or caring permanently unless the writers REALLY fuck up (i trust that they wont)
Its so weird cause i hear and see SO MUCH about it that tells me it is absolutely not a game for me... but every time i watch a new review (negative or positive), watch more gameplay, i get no less fascinated, and i stay on the fence about purchasing
and that being said, i am rooting for him to improve because it would be very satisfying to see him actually cultivate a good relationship with Blitz and Octavia through genuine work and action
like im sorry if im attacking ur fav, im trying to be as kind and fair as possible, but in my eyes: Via leaving him, and blitz being hurt, were very direct cause-and-effect consequences of his actions that i hope he takes full responsibility for, instead of crying about it next season
okay to be clear i havent rewatched the show in a while so i may be misremembering some things, but i dont think he was manipulated into ignoring Via and her problems that she was very loud and clear about, or his constant miscommunications with Blitz that resulted in their mess of a situationship
And even though blitz has already been hurt in stolas' warpath against himself, i dont know if i can bear to watch any more of that happen LOL
Kinda tangential, I hope stolas can actually like... improve (to put it VERY lightly) before making it official, like i kinda love him but nearly every single decision he has made in the whole show has made me angry to some degree, like watching a friend go down a dark path to fucking up everything
Like it felt so weird to watch that unfold after the message i got from the last episode was "oh. Its not that type of show." I thought it was gonna go wrong or be another misdirect, especially during kingers very direct lore drop. Maybe the finale really justifies it all and ill change my mind idk.
As a result, i think the dialogue lacked a subtlety that previous eps had. And it was all compounded by the fact that they did nearly the same "great scheme that fixes shit" plotline as the last episode, played it entirely straight, and it worked (though not as intended, consequences might be bad?)
And while the caine crashout has been heavily foreshadowed, they had to stuff the exposition, rising action, climax, and resolution of his whole arc into one 30 minute episode, making it feel like the story wasnt breathing properly. Felt more like checking boxes and moving on.
I like it but i have a few issues with it. EP7 was the climax of everything previously focusing on the conflicts and arcs of our humans. The resolution of that story does happens in ep8, but feels rushed and brushed aside IMO to instead focus on the caine crashout.
Kinger when he accidentally pressed the Delete Key on Caine

I love gay people
How is the performance on them?
Hes like a recurring resident evil boss
Being a pokemon fan online sucks because all of the discussion about it is between people who hate it and don't wanna think critically about it vs people who love it and don't wanna think critically about it. I just wanna talk about my silly interest but everyone wants to ruin each other's fun
holy moly 0_0
love the happy face on the dick
This is why i think the Vees, even after trying, will not get to heaven. Even if they deprogram and undo the lying, cheating, and stealing they needed to get positions of power, will they actually be ready to give up all of their worldly (or hell-ey?) possessions to commit to that? I dont think so
Like, death is symbolic that youve committed forever with your whole soul. If you betray your redemption/newfound beliefs for a few more short breaths, then the redemption was simply a temporary method of survival or convenience. So IMO death being the final test for heaven makes sense.
I would be very disappointed if death (not just by angelic means) wasnt the key to redemption, like anyone can change and live by a good belief system but if you arent willing to die by it, did it matter?.
Would also make us have to take val more seriously as a villain, showing the lengths hed go to satisfy his need for control ("if i cant have you, no one can!!" Type shit)
Even more traumatic: val in his incel rage straight up kills angel as he gets to the hotel. I add this mostly cause
A: my assumption is that sinners need to die to respawn in heaven after being redeemed.
B: my jaw would be at the CORE OF THE EARTH if i watched this shit happen on screen.
WOOOOO YEAAHHHHH
