Sorry I'm slow with the posts on bluesky, I post a bit more often on twitter cause it's where most of my audience is. But I'll keep mini-updates here and do reposts on the important stuff on both platforms.
Posts by True Believers | Vtuber debut soon
Finalised versions of the Sunshine superhub diagrams. www.reddit.com/r/MelbourneT.... I have reposted it on both reddit and twitter.
Enjoy it railway gunzels. Level crossings in every heavy railway network in Australia.
I had a fun time playing balatro today, pretty lucky. Anyways here's an update what's going on next week. I'll announce the vtuber stream debut date soon. I'm planning to reveal my avatar on twitter/bluesky in a few days time. I'll try to finish the ambitious map project by then.
As I'm creating my multi-modal map, I noticed this bizarre bus route. Say hi to route 558, one of Melbourne's baffling weirdest bus routed. On weekday AM it runs anticlockwise, clockwise in PM. Saturday AM it does clockwise. Saturday PM/Sunday no service. Sometimes extended. 😂
Great I have to fix my Sunshine superhub diagrams again :3 But it's good to see this though. Melbourne's sunshine superhub upgrades. bigbuild.vic.gov.au/library/melb...
If Melbourne Metro Tunnel only operated off-peaks political suicide. This is the worst case scenerio considered from an inside source not named. Let's be real it won't be fully ready by 2025, but it should be ready enough to operate it at a minimum to the existing timetable.
Update on my crazy multi-modal map of Melbourne so far.
This was painful, but here's the Hoddle grid if every bus route and tram line was separated out, with the major train lines shown only. Swanston st may be the busiest tram corridor, but Lonsdale street is another beast, that's why it's been taking me longer to finish this project
Quick update on the Vtuber stuff, there was some delays regarding that, it's in the rigging process atm, I'll tease the model and dates soon.
What is True Believers cooking up right now?
Update: I made a quick fix to the 2035 version, made an error in my version with the flyover.
As announced on twitter, I'm going to be a vtuber soon, so stay tuned over here or twitter for those updates. I'm planning to post double on both sites, rather than choose one or the other. Thanks guys. I'll be posting more and more.
SUNSHINE SUPERHUB DIAGRAM! This is the 2030 and 2030+ version that people were asking a lot. I'm sorry for the delays posting on here, but I'm back cooking. I have some memes planned so stay tuned for those too. Reposting this on twitter as well as reddit.
Job searching for an anxious and nervous person like me is difficult, like to get successful in jobs, you have to be confident in yourself and be productive and useful. And when you're feeling downgraded and anxious, it tends to be hard to be yourself and you make mistakes.
Idk I feel like stuck in a time loop or something, I have been having some weird dreams as of lately. I might be feeling a bit off lately. I keep making promises to you and myself of getting things done and not accomplishing that. I've been constantly been on edge mentally so please ignore my rants.
As I posted on twitter, I haven't been feeling my best lately especially in 2024. I'm hoping for a better 2025 year. I'm planning on making fresh youtube content that people might recognise as "wow you're the OG victoria railway youtube content creator" before Taitset and Phillip Mallis existed."
I'm thinking of putting more personal posts on bluesky only and keep the same transport news on both sites. The last few months has been very tough on me mentally, but I'm trying to improve myself through the Christmas break. I'm planning to make youtube content again.
North east link TBM tracker is here: bigbuild.vic.gov.au/projects/nor...
Webster street Dandenong level crossing removal being removed by 2026 instead of 2028. Contracts signed. Final designs released. Details here: bigbuild.vic.gov.au/projects/lev...
I've been a bit slow at updating blue sky account compared with the posts on twitter. Just loaded up the posts over the last week from twitter to bluesky. Honestly it's hard to update on both platforms, but it's a transitional period since most people are on twitter, so I'll post on both platforms
Got some train goodies at the Munnel HQ
Metro tunnel hub the other day. Location: 125-133 Swanston Street Melbourne.
Just goes to show how refurbishment in Melbourne goes a long way making an old vehicles look newer. Here's a Comeng train interior in the 1980s vs 2024.
This is funny picture without any context. Thank you Danny Pearson for providing water fountains for dogs at Croydon station.
Thanks for reading the thread. Amazing transformative projects are happening in the state, not to mention the Munnel team has an excellent update vid. Regional rail revival works and the west gate tunnel. Here's a HCMT to celebrate :3 (7/7)
Beaconsfield level crossing removal will likely be the next grade separation to open in Melbourne in early 2024. Making it the 85th level crossing removal in 10 years of the LXRP. Big cheers to the level crossing removal project! (6/7)
Progress street road bridge connection to Fowler Rd is almost done, to allow closure of level crossing in Melbourne's Dandenong south precinct, despite the controversy it's going ahead as planned. Now slightly to the east direction. (5/7)
Digger's rest level crossing removal is well underway, latest update from the local MP Josh Bull shows the beams in place. Over to the east now. (4/7)
North East Link is massive, the biggest developments is the TBMs are well on their way from this Watsonia site and will arrive in Bulleen in 2026. North East Link Project team will post a TBM tracker soon. Freeway widening well underway too. Now to everyone's favourite project, the LXRP. (3/7)
