Die Abbildung zeigt die Entwicklung der Mietkostenbelastung zwischen 1990 und 2020 am obersten und untersten Quintil der Einkommensverteilung. Am oberen Ende der Verteilung blieb die Mietkostenbelastung relativ stabil, am unteren Ende der Verteilung stieg die Belastung an. Bei Zugewanderten mit niedrigen Einkommen war die Steigerung von niedrigem Niveau kommend besonders ausgeprägt.

Key finding: foreign minorities are exposed to less green space 🌳 but more industrial air pollution 🏭 around their homes.
