What practices have you created to tend your inner sanctuary?

I set up an altar with a candle where I sit with hand mudras, inhale the flame of compassion for myself, & for all humans. I hold the breathe inside that flame in my heart and then exhale as universal love. It's a practice. Sometimes, I'm too angry to do it. Sometimes, I do it multipe times a day.

They told me about Hestia, the keeper of hearth and home. "Nurture the flame within," they said. With research I learned how Hestia held the space and nourishment for her siblings to do their extraordinary feats. I decided to create a hearth in my heart I could return to as America reshapes itself.

I didn't look at any media on election day. Intuition told me something shifty happened, so I already knew who "won." I decided to spend the election evening praying to and inviting my guides to show me how to strengthen my heart to thrive in any environment that will unfold as a result.
