At this point, while I know Spotify doesn't care (and actively pushing AI on it's playlists), other streaming services have to be concerned that they're paying fake artists for streams that skimmed by impersonating legitimate artists. It devalues their platforms, and incentivizes artists leaving.

So, with the proliferation of "Insect Warfare" and "Impetigo" AI shit on the streaming services like Spotify and Apple Music, has anyone else listening to #metal and #punk running into people trying to steal streams from popular (though not major label) bands via flooding with AI music?

This is essentially 90% of r/squaredcircle's content.

Last night a buddy asked a bunch of us how to get back into wrestling. We jumped and laid out the entirety of the NA, MX, & Japanese wrestling scenes, w/ major indies before he was like “No, just how do I watch?” It was awesome to be able to offer that variety and quality. Killer time for wrestling.

2020’s continue to be fertile ground for a returning Oi scene (with remnants of the 2010’s Deathrock scene threaded throughout.) @chatpileband.bsky.social continues to look down on us from on another planet. Reaction to Lifeless Dark makes me think kids are gonna start pushing Stenchcore in 25/26.
