I just feel like it makes more sense for entertainment's sake for a story featuring gross-tasting potions to force the hero to drink nasty potions. Why give him a break on this one particular thing?

Just a little more grousing about Dungeon Crawler Carl. Why was it so important for the author to include a hotbar mechanic for instantly drinking potions without tasting them? It's never used for anything clever but it's described ad nauseum throughout. Is it a power fantasy just for picky eaters?

I cant watch these kind of videos without getting this weird little seasick feeling. The movement is always wrong in a way that triggers subconcious disgust.
