My wife and I realized decades ago that exploring a city on foot is the best way to experience a new locale. To broaden our exploration we would take public transit to extend our radius and walk in that new zone.

I'll add that most of us would be hard pressed to name a judge at any level.
I think this reinforces the effectiveness of the existing procedures to name judges in CA.
