As for when the next and final English patch will release, I hope to get it done soon. The wonderful people that have offered to help have been busy so unfortunately we haven't been able to release anything for its anniversary without the game being buggy. I hope the current beta is fine for now.

I know most folks are waiting for Falcom to remake Ys 5 but this version is also pretty unique from the original SNES release.
I definitely plan on working on the PS2 versions of Ys 4 and 3 eventually! As for Langrisser 3, how different is the PS2 version? From what I know it's just like the Saturn and PC releases but with some minor graphic changes (censorship I think?) I could possibly port the fan translated script.

Lost Kefin update: Adding in a new Variable Width Font (VWF) has been really helpful, but there's been some issues that have shown up that we have been fixing. Big thanks to the testers and Evedred for fixing the issues!
Just wondering, what is unique about these two versions of Sorcerian that make you like them over other releases? I'm not very familiar with the series so I thought I'd ask a fan.
I do hope that you are able to find a hacker to work on these!

A good amount of these haven't been translated yet. It's mostly a lot of cool anime games!

Yeah probably, seems like there's also a lot of repros with the fan translation. That's why I'm scared of a Ys 5 remake actually happening because then everything will go up in price.

Apparently this is what happens when you try to throw RTX Remix into PCSX2. Sadly this means that Lost Kefin RTX 4K 240FPS edition will only be possible once a PC port recompilation is released.

It's craxy that Lost Kefin's strongest warrior (me) can't afford the game himself, I don't have 50 million dollars unfortunately (actual price I saw for a listing of the game!)
One of my many, many project ideas is to port the NES versions of Ys 1 and 2 to the SNES since there's a good few resources about that now.
Not sure if it's a worse idea than making a PC port of Lost Kefin once recompiling PS2 games become possible LOL.
If I had infinite free time I'd do both tbh.

Here's some more screenshots from earlier testing.
The font now has a black outline and also has support for proper spacing when needed (like in the file select).
Also the font we're using is Cuprum, which has been used by other Falcom games!
