I expect they will eventually, but they've been good adherents to "Never interrupt your enemy when he is making a mistake."
For now, they can sit back and watch the US torch its own goodwill. Even if US becomes normal in '29, allies are already wary of becoming so dependent on them ever again.
I'd expect such conversations could well be happening, but I wouldn't expect them to go much further than theory. Those kinds of confrontations with the US aren't really China's style - at least not yet.
