I’m a conflict avoider, if that’s OK with you.
Still the book 'Art but make it Sports' by LJ Rader on my table, but next to it now the novel 'One Minute Away' by Mark Watson.
Ah. Could have used a photo more like this I guess.
Join his patreon maybe.

A marketing success on this platform.
(I've got two copies now. It's the kind of thing that's brilliant to have up your sleeve when you're surprisingly invited to something where you would be expected to bring a gift but have no idea what you should get.)
Yes! It's amazing!
I'm using the occasion to reactivate the feed and @fringepromo.bsky.social profile slowly. bsky.app/profile/did:...
Time to slowly reactivate the feed bsky.app/profile/did:...
(It picks up posts linking to the edfringe ticket site as well as reposts by @fringepromo.bsky.social , you can pin it and have it as a little tab on top of your timeline, it's handy.)
This, in all fairness, looks amazing again www.impatientproductionsuk.com/edinburgh-2026

Nele also had a bit of a breakdown during covid writing more and more abstruse quizzes and astrology was her way back to some sort of sanity. So the horoscopes in the buzz are her field.
In case anyone was wondering if we're putting the work in building this and its characters background. (2/2)
New addition to this @murderbastard.bsky.social extended universe project.
@joyousechidna.bsky.social 's work even so that character specifically has an aggressively German name so I don't worry about making mistakes so much when I'm writing. (1/2)
Interestingly I've had neither of those in my life so far.
The wind blows a flower petal to their nose, they sneeze, zoom out to a huge field of those flowers next to the beach...
(Also there just was a German bookstore I could order two copies from when I googled it. So you can get it in the EU.)
They've got a link to preorder it at Waterstones in their linktree thingy. www.waterstones.com/book/art-but...
They post "This seems to turn into one these days 🫠"...
Interesting. Never heard 'herrklären' before. People around me opt for the English word there.
A traffic warden pins a parking ticket on them...
A wave washes away their briefcase...
Shark fins surface...
An artist setting up a canvas capturing the moment in a painting treasured by people for the next centuries...
A beginner pianist starting to practice Für Elise and entering a kind of loop nearby...
Read a headline: "Situation of stranded whale disimproves". It's a dramatic thing of course. But the phrasing made me imagine the whale stranding, saying "urgh, this day really couldn't get any worse!" and then a thunderstorm starts/a pod of bullies passes going "look, Genna's on land AGAIN!"...
One of the cats I'm sitting peed on the floor. So the plot thickens.
Princess behaviour this. Am I the villain in our story in the end?
My podcast returns for its 13th outing today, after a scheduled break. Actually, it 'dropped' late last night. People say 'dropped' these days. It's good, I think.

Fyi @chrisjack.bsky.social (and well done on the half one today)
My dad and brother are running the marathon in Rome as we speak. It starts at the Colosseum and ends at the Circus Maximus. And while I'd say it kinds of goes the absolute opposite of an efficient route between those two you've got to admit it has flair.
They'll all exclusively be paid in coffee on the day of the live episode.
We do what we can.
