I am genuinely very bummed if this is the end of the road for the good, useful DLSS models we currently have. Nvidia engineers sure are posting like this is the future of this technology for them. If you need a second 5090 to run a DLSS model that makes things look much worse, you've lost the plot.

Writing “no disrespect” and following it up with such flagrant disrespect less than 3 words later must be some kind of record

Any game that lets you do this to somebody is definitively a pretty good game

I pre-ordered a Founder’s Edition without the dock, is it too late to reach out to support to add it to my order at this point in time?
I highly recommend if you want an OLED monitor that you get one with a good burn in warranty. Dell gives you three years, I already had to use it once. Don't know what TV manufacturers offer these days for that
Minecraft RTX can do this, but it’s limited due to the size of the blocks you have to work with. I bet if you had a game with full path tracing that allowed you to set one up this would work in a ton of games. www.youtube.com/watch?v=AE7L...

The ones that just bought the site and are on a stage right now explaining how they bought the site?
Gonna guess it's bandwidth related with whatever adapter they're using.
They do have it, 4K 60fps is max docked though.

I don’t have a Mac on hand to test with unfortunately. My understanding is that they do text rendering differently to Windows, and maybe that can help? Unfortunately this is one of those topics where the real answers are buried in a 12 page forum thread of bickering.
The OS can mitigate around this, but Windows isn’t great at it. I can notice fringing on text on my QD-OLED, but normally not unless I look for it. It’s mostly scenarios with white text on dark background. Whether it’s an issue for you is personal.
When you think of a pixel you probably picture it as a box with three strips of green, red, and blue. OLED panels use a bunch of different subpixel layouts that differ to this, and often cause fringing on text as a result. Basically some neighboring pixels end up sharing colors.

Look into it a bit — I haven’t tested it out myself but Dell’s display management software tried to install some sort of KVM software recently. Might be a new addition? Can’t speak to using it at all.
I eventually stopped using it for work after the burn in — OLED just isn’t great for static stuff.
I own this and like it a lot, but with one caveat. I got burn in after 6 months of HEAVY use (8+ hours a day). This monitor includes a three year burn in warranty so it got replaced with a little hand wringing and it’s doing well now a year later.
This is a pretty insane deal for the price!

I tried! The API doesn’t support video and I would need to trim it, it’ll come later if it gets updated
It wasn’t an import, I manually posted it. It’s just because the API doesn’t support videos yet, or videos of that length. Once they do I’ll add that one too for completionist’s sake
The protocol supports any timestamp by design so I just whipped a script together to do this once I learned that was possible. It felt important
