Been loving the seasoal eggnog. Old enough to remember when it was a Christmas/New Years treat. Young enough to enjoy the half a year it's now available

I recently re-read the Dark Tower series by Stephen King. No regrets, but def not silly. Great series though, far removed from this *flails wildly* existence.

Cory Booker sets a record with marathon Senate speech. Will it rally anti-Trump resistance? New Jersey Democratic Sen. Cory Booker has held the Senate floor with a marathon speech that lasted more than 25 hours.

Democrat Cory Booker ends a more than 25-hour floor speech against President Trump's actions, the longest in Senate history.

Bless Cory Booker for staying up all night to speak out against these evil morons. This is the kind of fight that we are all looking for.

Welp, here you are. Welcome, and good luck. I hope (think) you'll enjoy.

I did! I found one from an independant bookseller with the intent to pick it up as soon as we no longer have two houses to maintain (which is imminent). Was literally thinking about this today as I was feeding and watering my chickens. Thank you for the follow up. It's shortly in the works!

I mean, yes? But also the last 8 years have just been...way way way too much. Like, scandal after scandal after scandal. Too fast to process. Every week has felt like a year basically. I feel at least three hundred and seventeen at this point.

That blows. I'm so sorry.

I was informed yesterday morning that my position has been eliminated at $DAYJOB.

Currently looking for roles in cybersecurity engineering or architecture, particularly for orgs that are just starting their security programs and need their first hire.

In 2020, it became apparent that a lot of people had been asleep in science class.

Well, in 2025, it’s become quite apparent that they slept through history class, too.

Sorry for multipost replies. You know me. I'm loquacious.

WHUUUUT? That seems off. I expect better of Snoop. I'll not believe it until I see it on the news.

Which I also may not pay attention to, because we are living in the worst possible timeline.

Stardew was my surgery recovery game. I knew it well enough to play while on pretty strong meds, but still was able to enjoy the surprises that I found in 1.5 while I was recovering.

100% agree. NMS, I think vastly outperformed any expectation. Every Stardew update since 1.3 has been mindblowing. I want Haunted Chocolatier, but also haven't fully explored Stardew since 1.4. And I love it! I know I'll get to it eventually. But both such amazing games that keep giving to fans.

I also have to give kudos for the continued updates that are consistently given to players. It's impressive. Rarely do games give that kind of added content.

πŸ’― I didn't think it was going to be my type of game and was pleasantly surprised that it was. I got it a few years after it released, so after the travesty that I hear other people experienced on launch. It's just such a great game when you need a break. Or just need some fun.

I've been enjoying some No Man's Sky to just escape *gestures wildly at the world* the last couple days. Very entertaining, engaging, and relaxing.

To the stranger who filled my inventory while I was lost and had no idea what was happening THANK YOU for the 600+ million units. That was so kind.
