Did you mean to put examples for login and backup instead of repeating the verb examples?

This would be a good bumper sticker.

I love every government-hosted "not like this" example for passport photos:

I do get so very tired of this “it didn’t [this] — it [that]” writing style.

Also Anil, “codeless” development may be a more comfortable term (again, for my methodology, where I am not writing [hardly] any code)

Ha, yes, it's always tricky to find the right new term, and usually there needs to be a spectrum of terms. And then, of course, eventually this is probably pretty much just what 'coding' means.

For me, aside from html/css I'm doing next-to-no coding myself, so it might be a more appropriate term.

On This Day…

Awesome! Curious if you're vibe coding this type of thing or doing it old school? (I've been having fun making various daily games at onthis.day lately.)

I’d love to find a wallet card that has the location/arrow support when you’re close. Not sure how to check for that. (My KeySmart card does not.)

I won't be able to keep it up like you, but happy to announce after attending the game that the #STLCardinals are on pace to go 162-0. Probably the most exciting Opening Day game I've ever been to.

Well done!

It’s amazing how many top ten hits I feel like I’ve never heard before. I love that part, trying to discern a year from genre, instruments, lyrics…

Yeah, just the high score right now. There would be a ton of fun stats to track, but storing everything would be a pretty big level up on the backend from the current set up.

You bested me, I missed two today!

We’re planning a karaoke night where you have to sing your most hated song.

Mine’s “All I wanna do” by Sheryl Crow thanks to a far-too-short playlist on the Kinko’s Copies soundtrack while I worked there.

Ah, you found a bug I introduced in a recent code refactoring. Hilariously I did not see this bug because I haven't gotten the high score in a while. It should work as expected now (meaning it shows you beat the previous score, if there was a previous score)

What is “I stung a man in Reno, just to watch him writhe”?

Whew, thanks.

Ah, sorry about that. I just found a bug, and I think I've fixed it! Would you mind trying the same link/code again and letting me know if it works?

I wonder if we'd have even just a bit less expansionist tendencies if our country didn't share part of a name with our continent (and another).

Yeah, apparently ~$225 ($7,500 today) for a 9-inch tall pyramid, which would’ve cost $5 within a decade.

I hadn’t realized they didn’t finish the monument till 1884.

The smoke alarm batteries died at 2am. Oddly, it wasn’t terrible timing, as I was up anyway. But I may not have been in the best state to set a ladder up on the edge of stairs going down. That said, the beeping has stopped and I survived.

Happy New Year!

Weirdly there were two Bastille’s in St. Louis - the one I’m talking about was a punk dive in west county.
