You just know there was an eariler version that had his face superimposed on the pie itself until they landed on the tasteful to the side picture.

Reflection on election leaflets coming through the door at the moment. Far too focused on "vote for us to stop them"(they drown out each other), far too focused on big picture and far too little on local concerns/commitments. Is any of it really cutting through for voters?
The episode immediately after the pilot with Ed O'Neill plays like you'd imagine and then has an absolute kicker at the end. But it also had James Brown and UFOs later on. I miss that variety.
Kinda wish it was back as a TV series. Let them do hard-hitting episodes and then sillier ones.
Jack looking like he hates his family before he even gets to the hotel is a fantastic choice and far more interesting than how King sets it out in the book.
Edvard Munch by Peter Watkins.
What's wild is the TV stuff was all clearly building to a big finale, including Thrawn and all that. This movie can't do that, and nor can it really lean into that bigger thread, so it's just this weird standalone adventure.
They should have stuck with making this season 4 and reintroduced Star Wars on the big screen with Starfighter.
At least Rise of Skywalker looked good!
Need to know if Landis appears and who's playing him.
From what I can see, some sort of group focused on regional television. Lovely to watch with a cuppa.
Previous copies have been appalling, and a bunch of them have never appeared before - people often ask the BFI to release them.
It's really strange watching good copies of these episodes after so many years.
Lee Cronin's The Mummy - what if Evil Dead 2 was an hour longer and all that extra time was spent on Ash and Linda and their relationship issues.
Surprised to learn that Griffin Dunne directed the original.
Now we're cooking!
Did not expect to see remasters of the first series of West Country Tales, including episodes I don't think have popped on online before, appear on YouTube - and look official? youtube.com/playlist?lis...
Nothing finer than seeing a movie on a Monday morning. Akiria on IMAX, and there's only one other person here. Ideal.
All those characters wearing baseball caps helping to make that case as well.
ITV putting Jurassic Park on at 7am is certainly a choice. Brings to mind the famous midday screening of Robocop in the 90s.
While I understand why it's ending, getting to 77 Up would have been aesthetically pleasing.
My favourite bit of the Ebert review of the 98' film the disappointment he had that Mayor Ebert didn't get squashed by Godzilla.
Hope they bring back the Siskel and Ebert stand ins!
That zoom in right at the start, and the other person shifting ever so slightly out of frame is wonderfully timed.
Harry Kim doing the soundtrack with the saxophone.
Every time I see one of his portraits, the Charles Gray voiceover switches on in my head. Wonder if he ever narrated any art programmes?
Working in a book shop at that time and there was a whole section of these books and they always sold. Baffled me.
I think there are some advanced free screenings next week ahead of general release.
It can be silly, it can go down some strange paths, but FAM also has moments that give me the sort of buzz that's missing from modern Trek.
And yes, the budget means that we spend a lot of time in narrow corridors and less and less time with Earth, but it is hopefully in service of the bigger space scenes later on in the season and the narrative idea of becoming more distant from home as you explore further into the solar system.
