Just like Tiled, Godot also needs layers to organize tilemap. So you actually need to set up layers like this.
Oh, so that's the problem! You use 3x3 corner detection, which requires 47/48-tile format, not 2x2 corner detection like mine.
Use this 2x2 corner detection guide. For corner tiles you only need to tag the cornermost part to detect the autotile. All my maps use this as the bare minimum:
Actually it heavily depends on what method your mapping is, so I'm not sure this is the right place to answer that. For the "classic" case, one map layer is for the lower part of the tree, the other layer is for the top part. Object-based mapping is another story which is too long to explain here.

I still can't fathom why I can't render two textures at once. Doing so only make the rendered colors appear black.
Anyway, shimmers/glitters are succesfully implemented, but not by using Perlin noise distribution because of the reason above.
The Phoenix Crown for the empress is the hardest thing to simplify, but the 2-px center saved the day. I am grateful that I took the way of 2-px center technique rather than the 1-px center, although it will compromise a lot of other sprites (e.g. the emperor crown)

Redo of my older Pocket Cryptids piece with a bunch of different cryptids drawn in the old pokemon gen 1 overworld sprite style, arranged like they're in a storage box on gameboy. There's a large higher detailed sprite of Mothman as he's the selected cryptid. Colors are limited with orange, cream, and black on white

What I certainly notice is the flu. The flu is different. Back then when it was still 4-6 months rainy season, the flu last for only a week. Today you need 2 weeks just for recovery. I don't know what's actually happening but it is certainly a bad thing.
I still remember the start of the last rainy season. It was when I first used my new pants, April a year ago. That means it was a rainy season for almost 10 months. The city feels abnormally cold now - in contrast to the usual blazing hot. And I'm not sure whether it is a good sign.
