I actually didn’t see it live. I was at a rural high school. Didn’t hear anything until after lunch (we didn’t have a cafeteria so some kids went home) when someone said they’d seen it then and we all said that couldn’t possibly be true.

There’s a term for this experience (which I imagine many of us are having):
Moral injury.
Moral injury is the distress that occurs in response to betrayal by authority structures and being unable to prevent acts that go against one’s deeply held values and moral beliefs.

It’s my birthday - please tell me one nice thing you did for yourself today! I’ll start! I took myself to Pike Place Market for breakfast where I had both a sweet (kouign Amman) and savory (bbq pork hum bao) pastry. And saw Tahoma!
Arguably both of them. My BS in computer info systems each and every work day for sure. My BSFS in International Politics, in all the humanities ways. Probably more relevant today than it was a year ago.
