In Scotland we get Labour/Tory coalitions against the SNP. Unionism is more important than ideology to all the branches of English parties. They have all the media on their side too. But we still vote SNP.
There are elections coming up in a couple of weeks. Opposition parties will keep this up till early May unless something better comes along.

At least two of my neighbours have acquired standing stones in the last 10 years - as garden features. I'm wondering how long it will take for someone to say they are in situ prehistoric stones. I've already seen a couple of Facebook posts claiming the Dunvegan Millennium Stone is prehistoric.
It seems #TheArchers is about farmers rather than for farmers these days.

The saddest thing about the same old same old nonsense from the anti-Indy and anti-SNP parties in the run up to this elections is how lacking in ambition they all are. They don't really want change - in fact they want to go back to the way things were when the ball was still theirs. Sad.

When our struggle for Independence & another referendum is challenged, one of the constant & recurring arguments against allowing us that fundamental right is that the Scottish government should be concentrating on the real issues and problems facing our nation and communities.
The change in Hungary has come from the young. Scotland’s independence is being blocked by the Westminster Regime, but also by older Scots holding back future opportunity & a better life for young Scots & their families. The change we need is independence. Get out the way if you can’t lend a hand.
Us Boomers should be regularly reminded of that Dylan anthem of our youth and ask ourselves what happened to our dreams of revolutionary change from the 1960s.
Adam has form, whether it's 'borrowing' money from Home Farm or being unfaithful to Ian. He's really happy to finally get the farm, and he will fight to keep it, he's not fussed that it might come to him because Brian's become unwell. #TheArchers
I think Adam knows exactly what's happening and that the family will contest Brian's Will if they think it was changed after his dementia started. He's trying to stop them speculating until the Will is changed so that doesn't happen. I don't trust Adam at all. #TheArchers
The name fooled a lot of people. For years, the BBC used Claire Fox as its "leftwing" voice on the Moral Maze, though her positions were clearly extreme right. The line-up was typically: hard right (Melanie Phillips etc), right, centrist and far right.
Which is more or less the BBC idea of balance.
