I have started my Birthday Dress. I have no plans for my 60th birthday, but I will have a dress.

I am already missing my local Joann Fabrics. I had to turn to Amazon to find 1.5 inch elastic for my current project (and I try to avoid Amazon). 😔 But now I have ten yards on the way, so that should last me for quite some time.

You might say I am obsessed with quilted vests at the moment. I just finished the Ruby Vest by Syd Graham Patterns. And I'm already thinking about the next vest.

Yes, we are using the same pattern. I see what you mean about the ties. I am going to tie it in a loose knot instead.

I am finishing up the All Well Cardigan coat. I just need to bind the pockets and sew them on. I also cut out the Seamwork Sonya dress over the weekend and plan to start on it this week.

I am obsessed about knowing which sewing machines other sewists use. Whenever I see a video on a sewing social post, I start/stop/rewatch to try to get a closer look at the sewing machine. 🤔

I love being a pattern tester. Here is my version of the Maisie Maxi Skirt by Elle Stitch. I used a 7 ounce stretch denim that I found on the clearance shelf at Joann Fabrics. Total cost: $16.98.
