What I love most is that the extension taps Raycast AI to suggest synonymous icons whenever your search comes up empty.

My 2010 MBP running Linux is now the Erskine household's staff engineer. Installed Claude Code on it, set it loose on my cursed Docker/Watchtower setup, and it rescued the Bluesky server I’d locked myself out of.

Would love to share a reflection piece on my attempt to build 12 @raycast.com extensions in 2024. The range of extensions I built this year were truly all over the place: from health apps with the Oura Ring, to icon pickers with Noun Project, to MLB and NHL scores.

A 2012 macbook pro with Ubuntu installed on it sits on a wire rack in a basement. There are wires strewn about everywhere. On the bottom rack is bulk toilet paper and paper towels and ziploc bags. Raycast AI window attempting to install BlueSky PDS as a docker container. It had me spinning up custom node scripts trying to generate a secure hash to use.

Turns out I just needed to create an install script and then run it with `sudo bash installer.sh`

Spent two hours last night trying to use AI to help me spin up a BlueSky PDS Docker container on my Ubuntu home server and couldn't get it working. It kept running into the same error over and over again.

Got it working in 15 minutes after by just RTFM 🤦🏻
