For what it’s worth I know folks who have done work with Trans Housing Coalition (I’m from Atlanta and have worked in and around housing for years). They’re solid.

this still was not my ideal way to seek justice. i would prefer an approach of transformative justice, and would like to see this root and fruit in our communities.

the settlement covered my medical costs, and the rest went to others for their needs.

ppl on the scene called 911 while i was laying face up on the street w drivers racing close to my head.

EMT checked me out. cops wanted a report. i refused to talk to them.

instead, i took the my body cam footage to a lawyer. he wasnt arrested, and i prefer it that way.

Found the guy, sued his insurance, won.

Goes to show that you dont need to file a police report when someone tries to kill you.

This was one month after i was released from jail. i dont care if someone tries to kill me. i wont ask the cops to send ppl there.

No one deserves jail.
