Just another little tidbit for you should he get away. Drop to the ground and cry out. He will think you're injured and come back.

The Blue Jays have a temporary starting pitcher who is super MAGA, and I could never be an announcer because every time he ended an inning I'd be like, "And another excellent outing from the guy who supports a pedophile who wants to take over his team's country!" and then be promptly fired
I hear you.
Looks like PP didn't tell the truth, again.
Any time you hear someone complain that PM @mark-carney.bsky.social “hasn’t accomplished anything” since being elected… Send them this map of all the countries that have signed new Trade or Security Agreements with Canada thanks to PM Carney. 🇨🇦💪 #CanadaStrong #facts #factsarefacts
Hope you'll keep it in mind whilst traversing with Berton.
My little Simba has a car seat with a seat belt built into it. The seat belt is never disconnect until I attach the lead. I don't even trust mine.
Good idea. One less thing to worry about Berton on his trip. Just make sure you don't open the door unless he's strapped in. I do the same with my little one.
Reminds me of being old. Great music though.
All it takes is for you to drop or let go. Happened to me once with a friend that wanted to walk my little 10 pound Yorkie. Just a hint, keep each lead in a different hand.
So worried about him in your little car and if he gets away from you along the way. 😟
Not sure what's up on Bluesky, but links stopped failing to load late last night and it's still continuing. I'm out.
I predicted this a month ago. I bet there's so much sewage that the city can't handle in it's treatment facility that it's just being sent downstream. This is why the City of Sudbury should have never built on a flood plain.

Federal politicians are dismissing U.S. Commerce Secretary Howard Lutnick’s disparaging comments about Canada’s negotiating position heading into major trade talks with the U.S. and Mexico.
This is an interesting concept for gardeners that I'd never heard of before.

When he was young I had to home school him. I was so 💔 It's taken many years to get rid of the anger. I did try but, when he go married he sat me at the back of the room. Was so hard, but finally realized was about money. His dad took it from a joint acct with me with a forged cheque.
Much history on the previous stance of the Ford's right hand man who once called for more transparency, but not now has something to hide. Bravo.

NEW: The Ford government’s changes to freedom of information laws could leave key questions about the purchase of a private jet unanswered, as critics argue the Progressive Conservatives are rewriting legislation to “protect the king.” #OnPoli

So interesting.
I still miss it so much. I sold in 2008 to get my son closer to university in Sudbury. Nine months later he moved out, paid for by his dad. Many bad feelings. To make it worse I haven't heard from my son for going on 10 years.
I'd get it from the city that built in a flood plain, then put lift stations in to send it downstream. At the other end of the lake I'd get it from the Vermillion River which is part of the watershed down from Timmins. I think it will get worse as there's still snow to melt in the north.
I never had issues until the lake rose up that high. Here it is a normal level. The steps you see were 8' high, then there was another 6' up to the house.
Pretty scary. Good thing I don't live there anymore. I'm to old for sandbagging.
Here's a link to how fast that water is flowing. The newer railway bridge shown is just before it. Normally that is a 50' climb up to portage as there's to many rocks. I hope the old stone bridge will survive.

I had never heard of it until recently either. I see what you mean by feeling less alone, but more angry that it continues. Hugs.
So sorry this happened to you.😭
My place had a walk in basement. Was nice to bring in wood with the wheelbarrow, but not so nice with flooding. Water was almost up to the main floor joists. Was pretty scary. These were before the house was flooded and totally surrounded.
One of the things I wish I would have learned. My van is an old 2007 and I averaged it out the cost of maintenance a few years back. It was $250 per month, but keep in mind the rates for repairs were much lower years ago.
A picture of an old stone bridge spanning a river.
This is a picture of an old bridge where I used to live. The water at present is near the top of the arch.
